Tigh-na-Camus Terms & Booking Conditions

Please read our booking conditions for Tigh-na-Camus and any other information which we send to you in relation to your stay there.

  • the property rental conditions
  • any other relevant information we brought to your attention concerning your booking.
  • Special requests, towels etc

Your booking is for the sole purpose of holiday accommodation and you accept that you are not offered any rights to the property other than the right to occupy the property for the period of your booking.

To book Tigh-na-Camus

Deposit :  non refundable £100 per week to be paid at time of booking and the house is not booked until the deposit is paid.

Two dog are allowed :  £25 each per week, to be paid with booking

Requested Towels :  £5 for a set of towels (bath and hand towel), to be paid with booking.

Balance : To be paid 8 weeks (56 Days) before start date of your booking

Cancellation :  Table below outlines the cancellation charges based on number of days we receive your notice to cancel before the start date of your booking.

When you make the booking, you confirm that you are 18 or over and are authorised to make the booking and that all other members of the party agree that the booking will be governed by these booking conditions. You, as the party leader, are responsible for making all payments due to us. All accommodation prices are for the property as a whole and are not on a per person basis.

When you receive your e-mail confirming your booking (after the initial deposit has been received), you must check the details very carefully. If anything is not correct, please inform us immediately.

When we receive from you all the required payments, we will confirm by e-mail as soon as we can. This e-mail will show your booking details, the amount you have paid and the amount you still owe for the booking. It is your responsibility to check your emails regularly and to let us know about any changes to your contact email.

If you do not pay the balance of the payment due by the appropriate date we will assume that you want to cancel your booking. In this case, your booking will be cancelled.

If you change or cancel your booking

If you want to change any detail of your confirmed booking, we will do our very best to make the changes. We would prefer to receive the request by email, though if a last minute emergency you can contact us initially by phone but any phone call should be followed up as soon as possible by an email confirmation. Our phone number is provided in the booking confirmation e-mail. 

We do not charge a security deposit against breakages and trust occupants to treat the property with respect and to advise us prior to departure of any broken or missing contents and or damage to fixtures and fittings.

Behaviour - You and all members of your party agree to keep the property reasonably clean and tidy and to take reasonable care and precautions to prevent damage while in possession, fair wear and tear excepted.

  • to leave the property within reason in a similar condition as you found it when you arrived;
  • to behave in a way at all times while at the property which does not break any law or use the property for any illegal or commercial purpose, hold events (such as parties, celebrations or meetings) at the property without our prior written consent.
  • to behave in anti-social manner or cause a breach of the peace or otherwise act in a way which may disrupt or affect the enjoyment of others.
  • or to sublet the property or exceed the maximum occupancy by allowing more people than our web page states to stay overnight in the property.

 We are not liable to our guests or members of our guest’s party for any loss or damage to any belongings of theirs or any of their visitors. Nor are we responsible for acts of negligence or wilful damage caused to the guest, any member of his/her party or visitor, by any other person(s). Acceptance of accommodation signifies acceptance of the above terms and conditions.

 Cars and personal possessions are left at tenant's own risk. Every effort will be made to return accidentally left property to the tenant.

Right of Entry

Normally during your let if there is a problem, we will seek your approval before entering the property but we are allowed to enter the property (without letting you know first if this is not practical or possible) in special circumstances or if emergencies happen, for example if repairs are required to be carried out quickly for you to enjoy your holiday. You agree to allow workmen access to the property as required in this situation.

Special requests
If you have any special requests, please mention them when you make your booking.

Problems & Complaints
If you have a problem with anything in the house or garden, please contact us immediately and we will do our very best to solve any problem as quickly as possible.
